Hey everyone...

I currently attend Kaplan University... I go to school online because the current busy lifestyle that I have it will not allow me to have the option of sitting in someone's classroom... I must admit that I spend more time reading than when I attended a traditional college - however, I believe it to be worth it...

I went to Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I also went through their law enforcement academy and now I am going through their Criminal Justice Master's Program!!! This school ROCKS!! I think all of their CJ classes are available online now! My Master's Program is strictly online and I love it because I work full time as a Detective and I can do my homework when I can. I'll get my Master's degree in Summer 2010.

I always heard they were nationally known and I can see why!!

www.mssu.edu - in the search part at the bottom of the page type in "criminal justice" and it'll take you to the CJ website.

Oh, and you can get your Master's Degree in TWO years (6 semesters: fall, spring, and summer)!!!!

Montgomery College. I've been here for about 2  years. It's taken me a while because I didn't know what I wanted to get into right away. This fall I'm majoring in CJ.

I like the school. Good ,decent place. As far as after plans, if I do stay in this interest of LE, I want to apply for the academy and get that started.

I am currently attending Axia College of the University of Phoenix online. It has been a rough road to start but I have got the hang of it. Current classes are COM/220 and CJS/200. I am set to graduate in the year 2011 but wish it were sooner. I did not have a class that I have hated yet. I am planning on joining the local sheriffs department before I graduate. I have contacted my local agency for sponsorship to attend the local training academy but no word yet.

I attended University of Central Florda, graduated in Spring 2008 with a BS in Criminal Justice. UCF has a very good program, filled with instructors who either have been in the field or are highly regarded in the research.

I am attending the University of Phoenex at Axia College for my Criminal Justice degree.  Classes are going great so far, and I cannot wait until graduation, when I can finally use what I have been working so hard for.

I am a student at American Military University working on my Bs in Crime Scene with a concentration in Forensic science. I hope to eventually go on to a  Masters. I love Forensic science so I have finally found my niche. I already have a degree in Accounting but I am not fond of number crunching. Lab work is more challenging. No offense to my CPA friends! :D

Saint Leo University...Awsome school for Crim justice...I wanted to go here for my masters degree but we don't have a psycology masters program and I want my masters to differ from my bachelors degree (more desireable for the FBI)

I understand what you mean by a different focus.  All the time I was at Kaplan gaining my BS in Criminal Justice I thought it was such a great program that I wanted to continue on with my Masters in CJ.and focus on profiling. However, others who had continued on with their education suggested some kind of field different than the strength of my BS.

I thought long and hard of a MS in Psychology and in the end opted for  Leadership/Emergency Disaster Preparedness.  I am very pleased with the course work thus far.

Hello all!! I am currently on year 2 and a half at Kaplan University working on my BS in Crime Scene Investigations and Forensic Science. I really do not have a favorite class or a least favorite. If they deal with Law, Crime and Solving, I enjoy them!! I have kept a continuing 4.0 GPA since I started school. For being out of school for over 15 years, I am pretty proud of that accomplishment! I am hoping to graduate with in the next year or two at the latest. From there I am hoping to join my state's lab.

Hi! I am attending Eastern Arizona College, not sure when I will graduate because I'm doing it slow due to being a sergeant at a local jail. My favorite class so far has been Traffic Function. Wow! Didn't realize how much I don't know about driving. I probally should not have been on the road until recently LOL!!! Had a great teacher who gave great information. I am working on my AAS/BAS I plan on using my degree for promotions, I love working in the jail "we get the whole piece of the pie."

I will be starting back to University of Phoenix.  I graudated with a Masters in Administration of Justice and Security in February 2008.  I set to begin another Masters in Public Administration at the end of February.  They have an excellent set up for their graduate program.

Quinsigamond Community College , Criminal Justice Associates  (06 credits short of graduation due to Injury on Duty and Retirement) . Totally lost my ambition and went on to play pool for ten years in the McDermott Pro Tour ( now that's the school of hard knocks ). All coming to an end in 1996 with a house fire that I inhaled "burnt Tupperware for 10 minuets" giving me 20%lung capacity from burnt plastic intertwining with lung tissue leaving me with bellows rather then lungs. (more street schooling).

I am going to a Navarro community college, here in texas, for my associate degree first. Than going to transfer to a bigger and more well known school for my bachelor degree.  I have completed only one semester so far. Took a break, got married, had a kid and know i have the chance to start back up again in march. Can't wait.
