I am looking for someone who might be able to assist me with some general information.  My daughter and son-in-law are currently stationed at San Angelo, TX, where he is in linguistics school studying Korean.  He is to ship out to Osan AF base on 09-30-08.  My daughter has not yet received orders to join him.  I have some very real concerns and questions regarding whether or not she will receive command sponsorship, whether or not she will go to Korea, protocol for when her husband leaves, etc.  They are currently living off-base.  I would prefer that the discussion be kept confidential, so that he will not know I am asking questions.  He has given her false information before, such as convincing her to marry him by telling her that if they were married, he would not go to Korea, but would go to Maryland or Hawaii, etc.  She believes everything he tells her and will not listen to my husband (who did 4 years in the Army) or to me.  Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Your son in law sounds like a real gem!  If she joined the USAF, they would try to station them together. Good luck!!!
