Posted almost 5 years ago Hello All, My name is Patricia; I currently reside in Central NJ and am looking to pursue a career in law enforcement. I went to college for business (now realizing it was a safe zone for me) and can not see myself doing admin work for the rest of my life. I have always been a "go-getter" and love challenging, rewarding situations. I enjoy learning and the fact of not knowing what to expect at times. Anyways, I have been researching and talking with officers and local politicans to gain more knowledge on the variety of processes to "get my foot in the door". If you have any information you think I may find useful or tell me a little about your experiences getting involved please do not hesitate to contact me. I would like to get started pursueing this ASAP!!

| Posted almost 5 years ago Hey Patrica welcome to PL. Just a thought here, you might check with your local PD and see if they offer a civilian Police program and get training from there. Then you can get your foot in the door for an LEO position. |

Motivation is key* As always, I am completely open to any information possible... I did some MORe research and I plan to visit my city's PD within a week to see whats up with AUX... Wish me Luck!!1
