I'm asking this question because, before I invest in a device that would eliminate the tragic event that happened to the canine left in the car and died, my backers need some information. This device would stop this from ever happening again not only to police canines, but children left in vehicles as well as other pets. I'm sorry it was posted twice. I thought I could get some good insight from this question not insulted. have a nice day

Sorry Taz, but I don't think there's any device out on the market that can combat the stupidity of people that leave their children in cars. IMO, if you do something like that it's because you decided to do it...not something that "happened by accident."

We just purchased a new K9 vehicle. Installed with the kennel was an Ace K9 "hot and pop" system. So far it works pretty good. It allows you to set the temperatures at which you want it to activate. it also has an engine stall sensor and a pager that alerts if the system activates. HOWEVER, it does have a snooze feature that shuts the systme down 5 minutes after you shut the vehicle off

Yeah there is either a "hot dog" or "cool dog" system you can get... You set the temp and if it reaches that, it could either send a message via pager or the horn will honk...
