Posted over 5 years ago I am 42 and very interested in becoming an LEO but have some "issues" in my past. I was hoping that perhaps someone in a LEO recruiting position could help me via email in deciding if I have a chance in hell of achieving my goal. |

Why don't you read some of the other threads asking if drug use/drug dealing convictions, terroristic threatening, sex with a minor, alcohol related offenses, domestic violence offenses, thefts, manslaughters, arson, etc or any combination of the aforementioned criminal activities can be overcome by potential leos. You may find your answer and not be offended by the police officers who have put many, many people with "issues" in jail. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I was simply inquiring if someone was interested in helping me in a more private and specific discussion of my personal situation.As all situations are different and my combination of circumstances is likely very different from someone else's.I certainly did not mean to offend any of you and if your weren't interested you could have just moved on |

| Posted over 5 years ago You think yours is different from anyone elses. Here is some advice. If you need to come on here and ask other LEO's if what you did was so bad you can't become a cop, then you can't become a cop, or we don't want you to become one. |
