I am not an officer but my wife is and has been for 10 years. All of my friends are officers male and female and I have the upmost respect for them and the job they do. It took me a couple of years to finally figure out what the hell they were talking about with all the 10 codes but now its like second nature to me. I have been on a few ride alongs with a few of them and I will be the first to say they dont pay you enough for that job. No im not a badge bunny (like I read in another post, lol) we were married before she became an officer.
I have spent alot of time in the dispatch room and some of the crap you all have to go to is out of this world. I just want to say thank you all for a great job and pray that you all go home to your familys after shift change.
