Posted about 1 year ago In the passed few days the thin blue has gotten thinner and with thoughts of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice came this tribute . I wish I could tell you I love you I wish I could tell you good-bye I've strapped on my Sam Browne for the last time Not knowing today i would die
I've accepted this calling a long time now And very few will understand why I tried to make a difference in all that I did Not knowing today I would die
I want you to know this one thing As you wipe the tears from your eye I took the oath to protect and serve Knowing one day I would die
So mourn for me if you must Then just simply put it aside Remember the greatness of how i lived Not the bitterness of how I died............
...don't play with me , i'll keep you way up after your bedtime..... |

c , missed doesn't seem to encompass all that is felt .............one minute you are laughing and kidding around and the next moment you hear " shots fired , officer down " , that is the worst thing any cop ever wants to hear during a tour...............their lives will never be forgotten , they are my brothers........... ...don't play with me , i'll keep you way up after your bedtime..... |

TO MY BROTHER: I received the call tonight my brother. Your life was taken from you and your family. I got the call tonight my brother and I feel lost. I hear the sirens outside like screams in the night. Another senseless loss of life. Our brothers/sisters over seas fight for our country and lives are lost. You fought for our county and a life was lost. Your family has lost a husband and a father, my heart is heavy my brother. So many questions run through my head, the pain the sorrow for your family. I will pray for them my brother.
May you rest in peace my brother…………………
