On 7/25/07 Flower Mound Police Officer Kevin Schmidt was critically injured in an on duty motorcyle accident. Officer Schmidt is married with two children. He remains in the hospital in stable but severe condition. Between 0900 and 1100 is registration and we use this much time because there are a lot of people. The Shamrock ride generated around 500 motorcycles! We will be at the Texas Harley Davidson in Bedford so people mostly look around at the cool bikes and get to know all the other riders and groups in the area. We will be headed in one large group to Flower Mound (with lots of police escorts) going through Grapevine and over the Grapevine lake dam. We will turn around in Flower Mound and head back to Bedford where we started for the live band, food and festivities. Total ride is 44 miles. It is an awesome sight to see that many bikes going down the road and we hope you can be a part of it. The $20.00 donation gets you a bandanna with the officer's ID number on it and into the gated activities at the end |

| Posted over 5 years ago Good luck on the fund raiser for Officer Schmidt. My prayers are with him, his family and his "work family." |
