So many pet owners and animal lovers on this site....its time to break down and admit how much you pamper your pets...what special things do you do for them....

I feed my step-cats quality Albacore Tuna on a plate and let them eat on the countertop so the dog doesn't get it. Also, one of them is known to cry by the fireplace and I will jump up and build her a fire, although everyone benefits from that....

I just got my dog two weeks ago, so shes a puppy, but I let her sleep in my arms if she needs to and she has lots of cute toys....

My animals are like my children. My dog even gets doggy ice cream.

Haha... I give my minpin Purina doggy ice cream too! And I take him to Petco every month and let him pick out a new chew stick. My son Chris says I treat Yoda better than I do him... so I remind him that now that he's 20 years old and has his own job... he can afford to pick out (and pay for) his own toys! =]

My cat has me well trained :-). I do a lot of work with animal rescues, trying to find them good homes so they can be pampered. I also make pet clothes and accessories, so I help others pamper their pets too.

My dog will eat with/from (depending on your point of view) a fork and spoon sometimes. He also likes sushi.

Okay...I have four cats...all FIV positive (kitty HIV)...they all have kidney problems also, so they get fifty dollar a bag cat food (almost twenty pounds)....Each of my babies has blimped to about twenty or more pounds a piece...they are enormous...they all sleep with me or the kids....have to have flowing water, can't drink water out of just a dish... my rabbit, Steve McQueen has his own portable rabbit run/play pen so he can run and play indoors and out. I just built a 100 sq ft pen for my three dogs...who all come inside if the weather gets too bad....they cry if a bad storm hits...and the neighbor's lab comes in too....Personally I don't think I spoil them....One cat cost me $900 for surgery after he ate fifty inches of thread and tangled his intestines....two others a total of $1500 due to kidney stones/ almost kidney failure (yes, they have kitty dialysis) My dashsund was a $600 parvo survivor....but all in all I have just done what any good mom would do for her babies....

Our boys are our children... luckily, my husband is the disciplinarian so I get to be the 'good mother'... hehe On hot days like today, our older dog (Boomer) gets worn from the heat and usually can't walk back to the house... well, he probably could as we're only about 3 houses down from ours, but I'll pick him up and carry him the rest of the way. I always make sure they eat properly and drink plenty of water. I'll take them pee before we go to bed and will bring the water dish to them for last minute 'sippies' before they turn in... they love me, what can I say!!!

Well, I have two babies. Blondie has her own chair, it's old, battered, and torn. I can't throw it away because she loves that chair. She is protective of it, no one can sit in it, not that anyone could because it's in such bad shape. Worst of all, it's in my den where people come to watch tv and such. LOL She has to have ice in her water, she would not have it any other way. I started her with that when she was a baby. She would drink ice water because I only drink water with ice in it. I had no idea that dogs could pick up habits just like children. She doesn't want even as much as a speck of dust in her water. She sleeps in the bed with me now that she is fully house trained and she gets mad if I put her out and close the door. She just won't stop barking and scratching at the door. She eats ice cream also. She eats popsicles (fruit juice kind). Too-Too is being spoiled also because she does what Blondie does. She has started eating ice and also has ice in her water. She has the couch as her own little corner of the world. I guess you could say that they are spoiled, I just call it love. Also Blondie is also a "high priced" parvo survivor.

ssshhh, I'm not supposed to tell that the big tough cop husband lets the german shephard sleep with him during the day, the two of them think I don't know it.

The lab only sleeps in bed with the youngest.

The baby shephard has her OWN bed in the son's room.

There was a goat in the house last night, cause she had a problem, trust me, you really don't want me to go on. At last count we had over 50 animals.

We've been conducting our annual drug dog certifications. One team from the eastern part of the state arrived with his yellow lab in tow. As they were getting ready for the first problem, something caught my eye. Upon closer inspection, I saw the lab's toenails were painted the prettiest red. I just shook my head and said as long as the dog works. I do draw the line on bows however.

Lets see, My Malinois has a grade VI (6) heart Murmur with Subaortic Stenosis, (yes he will die young accorging to his Cardiologist) but he gets to go to Dairy Queen in what used to be my Trailblazer, (he thinks he calls the shots when we go out sun roof open and his vent on in the back, I won't let him stick his head out.) the owner of Dairy Queen gives him 2 puppy dishes because he like him.  We go to PetsMart at least once a month to get femer bones to chew on.  Not to mention he sleeps in the bed if he can convince the cat to sleep on the dresser.

Hate to say it but you belong to what I have started as the SUCKER club...See if you have the stamp on your forehead cause I darn sure do...We are the ones that find  and save the pets..And go and try to buy a good German Shepherd but come up with something wrong every single time. I have three shepherds..My old guy is "well" there is no nice way to say it, on his way out. There is nothing I can do for him anymore. His hips are bad (couldn't afford the surgery way back), his knees are bad and so is his back. But he is 12 and has lived longer then I ever expected. He is a big boy 100 lbs but he keeps on going and never complains. Then I got a female to pep him up a bit 4 yrs ago. Her hips are bad, breeder gave me a puppy to chose again,,,Took a male two completely different parents no connection in the line to my female..He has one testicle, still waiting for his hip check but in looking at him I would bet they are bad as well. No great rush he had to be neutered. But at least the breeder was honest and gave me my 1200 bucks back. And I saved two dogs lives cause there is no doubt in my mind when she discovered their flaws she would have had them put down to save her reputation. We aren't even counting the cats who are on a waiting list for a no kill shelter. I am allergic and the dogs torment them to no end...I have decideded two things I will NEVER buy another German Shepherd from here on out it is rescue rescue rescue...And I will never go for a walk without a dog so I don't have any cats approach me...Is your rabbit named Steve McQueen because of the show House?

LOL, I have spoiled, brat cat. She sleeps on the bed and the sofa on a special blankie I gave her. She is to much and to cute. Should see how she turns her head when I call her or try to get her attention. She drags her food plate if I dont have her dry food space filled at all times. Plus she follows me every where around the house, lol. I haveto post a pic of her. I would say she is pampered and spoiled

My wife & I run a cat rescue. We have 16 cats, but only 8 are up for adoption.  Over the past several years we adopted out 55 cats, what are left are the ones with special needs.

I try not to step on the stupid cat more than once a week.  The smart one stays out of the way.  That's as pampered as it gets in my house.

One of our fur babies takes over "Daddy's" pillow.  (Though lately he's starting trying to take over my side of the bed.)

I know this is a really old post, but couldnt resist.  My GSD is my daughter, I used to have a chevy impala when she was a puppy, as she grew up, I got an Suv to accomidate her.  She eats better than I do, she'll eat bison, kangaroo, duck, chicken etc.. while I am making a grilled cheese sandwich.  I go to my hometown in upstate NY at least every 5-6 months, so she can play with my mom's GSD's.  However, she is always tail wagging and happy to see me, and when ever I have a terrible day, she cheers me up

Lol...this is great!  I'm so glad I don't feel so insane anymore.  I have a very large cat, and since getting our Schnauser, who I baby to no end, I feel like the cat doesn't have a place of his own, not to mention the dog wants his food.  So I've lost our breakfast nook table as I've given it to the cat to eat at and lay on.  I thought I'd buy him one of those window seats for him, but they all have weight limits and he usually exceeds them, and he's so big that it wouldn't leave him enough room to still be able to eat his food.  The vet put him on a diet which we hold to strictly and he gained another three pounds.  After a year the Vet said nevermind, he's just big boned...lol

I have a fairly new cat named Big Boy. He was horribly abused by his former owners and was quite shell shocked. Loud noises still terrify him. Its taken three years of continuous love and attention to turn him around. He now is a big baby, but he trusts absolutely nobody except me and my family. Whenever I go to the bathroom, he always follows me into the bathroom and sits there next to me performing "guard duty" while I am on the throne. Yeah, I spoil him rotten. The people at the vet say that he is one of the sweetest cats they have ever handled, but I'm sure they say the same thing to other pet owners.

We have 4 dogs. the rat terrier/chihuahua sleeps under the covers between mine and my wifes feet, the beagle/jack russell sleeps on the pillows between our heads, the mini daschaund sleeps on top of the covers in the middle of the bed, the bassett hound DOES NOT sleep in our bed. They have more snacks at our home than I do.
