Question about Ebay transaction and bully cops

Posted about 5 years ago Hello, just wanted to get some advice and some truth. A year ago I sold a coat to a woman who bid on it on Ebay. She wanted to buy it from me at a lower price since she didnt win the auction (there were no winners) so I sold it to her off ebay. She sent me a money order and I sent her the coat. Well she said she never received it and went on to harass me and such for a few months. I told her that I mailed it and she did not pay for delivery confirmation or insurance for the package so I was not responsible for it anymore. I am not refunding her for the 250.00 she sent me. So now a year later, she files a police report with my local PD. 2 dectectives (they have nothing better to do in my town but save cats and get people for ebay transactions?) came over and told me that I have to refund her or they will put me in jail and arrest me!! They yelled at me for an hour and told me WHERE IS THE PROOF OF SHIPMENT and receipt. Blah blah. I told them its been over a year I dont have it!!! Anyway, they went on to say that they will be checking all the local post offices records for the month of Feb. last year to see if it was actually mailed to her address. I was like ok you got nothing better to do knock yourselves out. They then told me that they will "build a case" against me by digging up dirt, quote end quote, and talking to other buyers in the past 5 years ive dealt with who werent happy with their purchases! Lol, I mean, I run an ebay store. People arent always gonna be happy. So now what. I mean if they wanna be complete jerks, can they file charges against me for the missing coat if I dont refund her? My god. |

| Posted about 5 years ago Let me get this straight...she buys a coat from you. She sends the money order, and you ship it. She claims to not get it and begins to "harass" you for a few months. You run an E-bay business, yet you don't keep records of shipments. If I was in your shoes and knew this woman did not get her coat, I would have kept all records pertaining to this transaction to CYA. "There is no hunting like the hunting of man.

| Posted about 5 years ago you know as a person who has almost been "screwed" by a person on ebay... I understand that this women is upset at you. I sent a mail order to a man in California- made sure I got a signature, I didn't realize it was not paypal which really sux! And if you truly run an Ebay store, you sould know how things work. Come on man! I only buy things off there I know more then you... thats not right! She has all the right to take you down. $250.00 is a lot of money for some people. Thats why they buy things off of Ebay sweetie! A SMART person would have sent it with "signature required". You dug your own grave... find your own way out! |

Honestly, the ethical ebay sellers I've dealt with all keep their records and they encourage insuring and paying for delivery confirmation. I see all kinds of red flags with this guy's post and he certainly doesn't gain friends with his approach, calling the investigating officers bullys and such... |

| Posted about 5 years ago not only that but did he pay cash, check, money order to ship? If not cash then there is a record but I bet you're going to say you paid cash. Did you use USPS, UPS, FEDEX? may be a record there if the alleged coat was sent Pain is weakness leaving the body. Obstacles are what we see when we take our eyes off the goal. |

| Posted about 5 years ago I think you must ask The Sarge first if his cat can perform. |

| Posted about 5 years ago I didn't thnk I had to. Cat had a written note from the sarge. I hope it wasn't forged, because then I would have to turn it over to the detectives. I heard they can be bullies and jerks sometimes. In Honor of the Fallen. |
