Has anyone had any hip and back pain (I'm sure everyone)? But the pain goes from the back to hip down my leg. Anyone have this before and what did you do about it? Everyone is telling me it is my sciatica. God I hope not. Help if you can

I have. I had x-rays and my lower spine was twisted. I went to a chiropractor who has fixed me right up and god bless him. He's been a lifesaver.

I am not a doctor, but it could be because of weight of your belt causing strain. What do you think?

Any numbness? Down your leg, or in your backside? If so, get it looked at again. Ask for an MRI. I had this, after two years of doctor visits, physical therapy, and constant pain, an MRI showed a severley herneated disc. Surgery fixed it right up. I agree that duty belts can cause problems here, too.

been there and done that. Surgery required. The nerve is being pinched by a disc probably. My was being pinched and the disc swelled and cut the nerve into. YOU NEED to go to doctor BEFORE its too late like i did. Now, I have permanate damage with scars and daily pain. GO NOW!

Agreed. See a doc. Get X-Rays, MRI's or wahtever... and yes... duty belt definitely plays a role in the back pain.

I know how you feel. I have pains from my neck to my hip. Of course it's from breaking my neck in a motorcycle crash and not from patrolling all of the time. Maybe you're just getting old...LOL!!
