Guys i want to personally thank you for sharing the thin blue line with me . So many times we visit memorials , funerals , fallen officers families and don't tell each other nearly enough how we truly feel about having each other's back . I'm not one to create a thread , but it was easier to tell you guys all at once . Too often i have gone to the odmp and wish i had known my brother or sister in life ........today i give you your flowers while you yet live ...and again thanks for sharing the thin blue with me.........i got your back.......

...don't play with me , i'll keep you way up after your bedtime.....

That is exactly how I feel. As far as where I'm viewed on the line or not on the line or have line, I too just want everyone to know they have my support. I'll leave it at that. Some of you already know.

Val, this goes along with something I heard many years ago:

"Give'em flowers while they can still smell'em."

Thanks, sweetheart.

I appreciate you as well Val.

It's sad, I'm here reading this and thinking about Phoenix PD Officer Nick Erfle. My office sent about 10 Agents to the funeral and I spent the day hearing the local radio news replaying news of his funeral. It always makes you wish you knew him better.

If you hadn't heard this, then here it is... Nick Erfle, 33 y.o. and 8 year vet of Phoenix PD, is survived by his wife and 2 children. During his 8 yr tour of duty Nick Erfle beat cancer twice, he was also commentated over 50 times, once for placing himself between a man with an AK-47 and a school that was in session. He safely apprehended the felon with the AK-47 during that incident. Rest in peace Nick.

Thanks, Val.. We all could use someone like you to let us know we're appreciated. I spent alot of time overseas as well and people sometimes forget we are people to. Thanks again.

Thank you Val!! It's an awesome feeling knowing we have SO many 'brothers and sisters' in our career! One of my Honor Guard co-members went to the San Antonio Detective's funeral (Det. Moreno) this past Thursday. I think it was the largest one I have been to. The turnout was just outstanding. Unfortunately sometimes officers do get honored more when they pass than while they are still doing their job. May God bless Det. Moreno and his beautiful family!

Thanks Val. You know I got your back! Having lost two former partners LOD, I know how very important it is to let your partners (and everyone else important in your life) know your feelings. Every day we go in could be our last. God Bless all of you.
