I am in SC, and we are having a problem with those rice burners. I call them too fast and too stupid. Most of these cars are driven by kids who have no idea what a muscle car is. Does anyone else agree?

Where's the other thread GTS? I can't find it. and bfelton, this isn't just in SC. THis is a nationwide phenomenon. Ever since the movie "fast and the furious" this has been growing at unbelievable rates. Every kid that drives a "rice burner" which to me has come to mean any compact, sub compact or mid-sized car. The reason that I have to group so many in this category is that every kid that has a beater puts 500 pound of fiberglass body panels or a wing that was originally designed for a supersonic fighter jet on his car. I've even come to put some mustangs in this group because of some of the rediculous accessories they have for them. I drive a vette and it gets a little old EVERY SINGLE TIME, that you pull up to a red light. Some little lawnmower powered car wants to run you, or a v6 pickup that weighs 3 times what a Vette does and has half the horsepower. Now look what ya done....you made me go and rant.
