If you could change any law what would it be? If you could add a new law what would it be?

hummm but there are so many.!!...I would have to say first and for most,
if the states are going to impose so many laws that come directly out of citizens pockets ,
Citizens should have an open forum and a say in each and everyone of them.
It is not a difficult thing with todays technology for them to get millions of opinions in a simple for or against format. I get tired of the powers that be sneaking things on my plate and then being force fed them !!!!!!.
The law, I would most like to see changed is the control insurance company's have on my personal budget, with their "according to stats,",, you have been this broke ..you owe even more !!!....
This circle keeps people on a budget on an endless cycle with little control and the government enforces it.
I am so fed up with honest hard working people get victimized for not being able to keep a larger bank account. ....And the government waste continues...

I would like to see drunk driving penalties increased dramatically. Drunk drivers cause so many senseless deaths. I believe our current laws are not working. So many innocent men, women, children and LEO's die each year as a result of someones irresponsible decision to drink and drive. The list could go on and on, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves. And I agree with NYPDLieutenant. Dust off the chair and fire her up.

Hi guys, this is probably a good ? for another post,,,
but just wondering,
due to the fact that our justice system is not by far a perfect one,
do you think people get a fair shake enough in our courts to put them to death..?
This is not an argumentative ? ..
.just would like to hear your thoughts...

Lets look at children, familes, officers, that have been killed and the person who did it is sitting in jail with 3 meals, tv, clean sheets, heat, air, books, etc...... ( and do not for get on our tax money). Ask you self if someone killed someone you loved would you want them to sit in jail or sit in the chair?

I would definitely do not have a problem with a Guilty person serving whatever sentence is doled out to them,,and usually am not happy if there is not a lil to boot...
But my thinking is (due to some innocent people being convicted , proven innocent and subsequently released) .
That it can be hard to get a fair shake sometimes in our imperfect system (yes, I know it is the best there is)
I am not so sure I personally would stake a possibly innocent life on it.
We all are aware of the power of attorneys in the court system.
We all know our public defenders and prosecutors are swamped.
We know the better you can afford $$$ in terms of an attorney ,,,, it does make a difference in time spent and paper work pushed. This is my problem with it,,and a hard one to get a clear view on.
I have had 2 murder(separate cases ) victims in my family. Felt the investigations were very complete and competent, the jury did their duty and the sentence was imposed.
The murders on one case won't be seeing the light of day. And the other is in for 6 years.....

Two points:

1. Yes bring back old sparky we need it, and streamline death penalty process you shouldnt spend 20 years on death row for the murder of a police officer

2. Sexual Assault on a child, life in prison no parole no ever loose the key

Changes to 234. Pa. Code. Rule 509 and 519 were made in July 2006. I assume because of over crowding issuses.
A police officer must release a defendant and obtain a summons when the most serious offense is a misdemeanor of the second degree or a misdemeanor of the first degree in cases arising under the DUI law.

Also, people driving with cell phones is an issue. Pa. needs to add this law.

Go practice falling down, I'll be there in a minute
