I have noticed a lot of officers reffer to themselves as leos.Im sure I'll take a little heat but I gota know ,what does it stand for?

Thank you for your service to this country. The Army is just as important as LEO, and we appreciate your hardwork. Don't be ashamed of not knowing the "lingo", it's not the abbreviations that matter, but your dedication.
Best of Luck in finding a job in Law Enforcement. I think it takes a courageous person to ask such a question.

Wait until you have to re-learn the phonetic alphabet. No more Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc... Being prior service Army, I had to have the Adam, Boy, Charles, etc...drilled into my head. For some reason I still catch myself saying 'Mike' instead of 'Mary'. It really irritates my dispatchers ;)

I don't care much for FTOing trainees, but my favorites are Military when they get on the radio, I love it and give em Hell.........Thanks for your service to our Country, Good Luck future LEO.
