I don't know, I miss my PR24. OC decons faster, CS is ugly, but OC made me hurt to the bottom of my feet. As with most things in our business, If a little is good, a lot must be better.

Let's see...would I rather get sprayed with OC, gassed with CS, or beat to hell with a stick.....um, I'D RATHER GET KICKED IN THE DING DING THAN DEAL WITH EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stuff that the postal guys carry is pretty harsh. To me it seems that if it burns it burns, I got certified with phase 4 spray and the stuff that the postal guys and meter readers carry is about as bad. I had a contract meter reader spray my german shepherd (RIP Duke) 3 or 4 years ago. He sprayed my pooch when he wasn't even doing anything. I saw him do it and when I went out and confronted him he sprayed me. The stuff was pretty damn hot, but my temper was a little hotter after spraying me, not to mention my beloved pooch. AAAAHHHH, I can still hear his cries for help.

OC is good for the 1 on 1 encounter. The CS is better when trying to break up a crowd. I have been through both, the CS gas spreads and will clear out a crowd in a matter of minutes. As for OC when you are up close and personal like that, sooner or later you are going to have to put your hands on that person and now you are exposed. With CS you can lob it in and watch them run away.

OC is better than CS. OC foam can limit the "Friendily Fire" factor. However, I like LT's choice...Its hard to beat the "Old Whoppen Stick". When I carried a baton, it would hit the heel of my boot when I walked. It looked like a small softball bat. I never had a problem when I walked in with it dragging behind. Everyone looked at it before looking at me. ASP is a good option. But, it compact size takes the "Presence" out of sight & mind.
