The new trend in Crime Scene Investigation has placed a lot of false hope in the public about what our abilities as LE officers "should be". I have found that a lot of citizens viewing of shows such as CSI and others have caused them to believe we can do unbelievable tasks such as pulling prints from brick, upside down, in the rain, 6 years after the crime was committed. (Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little!) I just wonder if others of you have noticed the same.
