Is There A Difference??

Posted almost 6 years ago Is there a difference between a 911 Communications Dispatcher, Telecommunicator, and a Police/Fire Dispatcher. There are 3 jobs in my area, and they all have these different titles. I was just wondering if one handles more then the other, or if there all just glorified names for Dispatchers. Thanks |

| Posted almost 6 years ago They sound like they're the same thing. Ours are officially titled Radio communications Operators (RCOs), so everyone might have a slightly different term. |
