I love these boots. I have 1 pair for off-duty and 1 pair for on-duty. My oldest pair are about 2 years old and I have only replaced the insoles. No better boot on the market.

These boots are so comfortable for their price......better arch support than some others offered.

While I find these boots easy to put on with the zipper and comfortable to wear, I dislike the ankle support. They have been blamed for a couple of injurys during foot pursuits at my department. Your boots should be an asset in your duty, not a liability, and we can never count on where our watch will take us. If your main concern is price, these boots are very reasonable.

I love these boots... Light, comfortable, easy to put on... What more can I say. I also like the hidden pockets on each boot. It allows me to store an extra cuff key or some money from my wife...

This is a great fit, light weight comfortable boot that is very affordable. Great side zip design makes it easy to take the boot on and off. Boot also holds a great shine for those who like to keep their boots polished.

I got into a foot pursuit the first night I wore these boots. I found them to be extremely comfortable and light as I chased down a shoplifter. I was looking forward to putting the boots through there paces. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be as, I captured the thief less than two blocks away...

Great summer boots....

I have now had two pair of these boots. These boots are really comfortable and convenient. However, this is the 2nd pair that have also torn near the sole. They are falling apart and this time I ordered a pair of Danner's. Hope they work out better. Still a decent boot.

A good value for the price but have had a few problems. Almost as soon as I started wearing them the velcro tab securing the zipper came off, but I have had no problems with the zipper. I have a wide size and the sole just won't stay secure. I have gaps between the leather and rubber sole from the toe half way back the side. I expected a little better from 5.11

These are pretty decent boots for the price. They're lightweight and comfortable - even for my big Fred Flintstone like feet. The only problem I've found is that the inside behind the heel is starting to tear after only 8 months of service.

I have had these for about 1 1/2 years now, great confort, great support, easy on/off, going to upgrade to tthe HRT boot. I like the canvas toe on the HRT. In the line of duty my current boot has had the toe ripped up pretty good. The first pair I had the velcro ripped off the side in the first 3 months went back to the 5.11 dealer and spoke to them. They called 5.11 and they replaced my boots free of charge.

I'm on my second pair and could not be happier. These are the best boots for the money.

I work in corrections. When I come to work in cold weather these boots get stiff as a board. When I am doing cell checks at night it sounds like a nazi storm trooper marching around because it takes forever for them to soften up. They also have less grip when they are cold. I couldn't immagine wearing these on street patrol in cold weather, the bad guys would say "Here come the nazi's again !" Insoles only lasted about 6 months then were flat as pancakes.

Good boot and very convenient to slip on and off. Does lack in comfort a bit but makes up for it with light weight and waterproof ability, which has been tested several times.

Great boots, lightweight, cofortable, easy on/off, very stable sole, only issue i have had is the do not hold a shine at all.

Never felt a more comfortable boot, and I love the zipper. I hope they hold up, But I haven't had much trouble breaking them in.

I really like these boots. I've worn Rocky 911's for about 15 years and bought these when they had a "5.11 Day" at the uniform shop. They are comfortable and make me about an inch taller which is great since I'm vertically challenged. I'm thinking about buying a tan pair for hunting.

Best pair of boots I have ever owned. Our dept used to purchase only Rocky boots, I got tired of them falling apart during the first year of service so i went out and purchased my own. I love the feel and support they provide. The price makes them even better

These boots are a great match for me. Everyone's feet are different and different boots work better for different people. I will continue to wear the 5.11 boots until I find a better suit. Belleville also works great.

Love these boots, the side zipper is great. Very light weight and not heavy after a 12 hour shift.

This boot has the advantage of the side zip but was uncomfortable compared to other's I have tried on in the past. The main thing is the ankle support and this boot has caused me to have rollovers onto my ankle when pursuing an individual or running.

Very easy to put on and take off because of the conveinent zipper! Easy break-in period. Only cothe stiffnes when it gets cold out!

Very poor ankle support, sole fell apart, sent them back, switched to MATTERHORN'S.

Best Boots I have ever owned. I have had other boots dry rot at the base. 5.11 A.T.A.C. are worry free.

Good boot. Quick break in period (one 12 hour shift). Fits great and is comfortable. My only complaint is that my first pair had some stiching prolems where the boot meets the lace area. I tied them tight and then used the zipper and it was a little tight at this point when stressed and came un stiched.

Awesome boot and when paired with the insole it is extreamly comfterable. On my second pair and won't give them up for anything!

I am on my second pair of this style boot. Like: Light weight, easy on and off, durable, "hidden" pockets, looks, non-slip/squeak. Dislike: the leather is seperating from the rubber on the toes. This has happened to both pairs I have owned.

love this boot...ahve 2pr switch out and alternate days......dont think ill ever own anything else!

Great boot! 5.11 apparel has out lasted all of my other gear.

Very comfortbable boot. Combines the look of a tactical boot with the light weight feel of a shoe. I've worn this boot all throughout my academy training and I have not had any problems with them. Side zip is also very nice.

THis has been the best pair of duty boots I have ever worn. They look good, hold up well and last forever.

These boots are great! They are very comfortable and they take a beating. There is nothing better then chasing a suspect through the water at the beginning of a 12 hour shift and still having dry socks for the rest of the tour.

This is my 1st pair. They are comfortable, and I like the fact that they are water proof.

These boots were comfortable the very first shift and I love the hidden pocket on the outside of each boot.

I recently purchased these boots and so far so good. Haven't had any problems. They are light and easy to move in. They even made room for my big size 13EEs. I hope they are as good as I have been hearing.

I'm on my second pair in three years. Good boot for the pavement and the desert, though you can feel the rocks through the soles. They take a good shine when needed and require little other care.

I'm on my third pair. Used to wear Rockies before they closed up shop in the U.S.

Some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn! Allowed me to be on my feet for 10+ hours a day with little discomfort. Only downside is the zipper has somewhat come apart.

A very comfortable light weight boot, but does not hold up well. Mine tore on the side at the sole and the interior lining came completely apart in both boot.

These have been great boots. They got me through the abuse of academy with comfort and durability. Not too expensive, and really look decent when you shine them up. I will be wearing these on duty for sure, and would replace them with another set without hesitation.

these are very comfortable boots, however, i normally buy cheap boots, but i splurged and these 5.11s started falling apart with in 6 months. i sent an email to the company, and they took care of the issue but still doubt i would spend my money on another pair.

The boot is comfortable but they fall apart too easily. I bought the waterproof version but on the first rainstorm I discovered they were not as advertised. feet got soaked immediately when i stepped out to direct traffic at a T.C. Called 5.11. they were responsive replaced immediately but again not waterproof. Changed to Danners better product.

Freakin' love these boots. They are comfortable and supportive and have a 30 day return option if you hate them. Can't go wrong.
