For police officers (carrying a load of police gear on their belts) having lightweight and compact police equipment is a major benefit. Often, police officers find themselves in conditions that are less than ideal. In these situations, the compact Streamlight Stinger flashlight shines. The Streamlight Stinger flashlight is one of the most powerful rechargeable flashlights for its size ever built. The Streamlight Stinger flashlight is tough with a virtually indestructible case. The Streamlight Stinger flashlight offers many of the advantages of a full size flashlight, but in a case the length of your palm. Few flashlights have changed the rules like the Streamlight Stinger flashlight. Stop spending money on traditional batteries!

This is it I I highly recommend using this flashlight when qualifying for night shooting. Fits in your non-shooting hand perfectly, without interfering with your weapon grip on your shooting hand.

great light small and bright. you have to have a light on your belt if you work day or night. i can't say how often i've gotten out of the car and forgot my big one especially if you chasing someone. it's very bright for the size and fits into mose expandable baton holders.

The STINGER XT is a great flashlight. I carry this model as my duty flash light and it performs with out problems. The battery life is sometime limited to a couple of shifts, but its still a mean light.

I was issued the light due to my bike patrol duties. Even when I'm not on bike, I still carry the streamlight. It's a convienient size for my duty gear.

I was issued this light from my department. It has a very bright light for its size. It did well during my night scenarios at the academy (building searches/felony traffic stops). The only downside is that it doesnt seem to hold its charge very well.

I do not have the one with the bottom tac button but this is identical to the one I have. I have been nothing but pleased with this light. I had a scorpion for my first flashlight as an officer, it worked well but $200.00 later in batteries I had to get rid of it and go with something rechargable. If you are going to be in this field any length of time, I would suggest buying the best flashlight you could get, and in my opinion the streamlight line of flashlights are the best in the field.

Good lighting for something so small...You won't even recognize it on your belt. Tactical button is a very good thing when searching any kind of building.

Like this flashlight. Would like to see it have some type of warning before it goes out and something besides the ni cad battery as it will build up a memory. I'd prefer a lithium ion. It's given me good service though.
