    1st review

This is our departmental issue weapon. Very smooth trigger pull, approx 3 lbs. I have only known it to jam rarely in training using very dirty reloads.

I switched to one from a Glock. Very good gun.

I owned serveral PO and they are an okay guns. I would normally stripped it down and replaced them with all COLT parts. I only used the frame and slide for Hi-cap. PO parts are ok....they are not the best.....The picture above is not an LDA, it is a single action model.

Department issued. Sensitive to and jams frequently with reloads. Otherwise, easy to shoot and handle.

I've carried the 14.45 LDA for nearly 5 years. It is big and heavy true, but when shooting it, it is a joy to shoot. Never had a jamb or issue with it. For the past year+ I've carried it in a water patrol enviornment, no problems. I liked it so much that I got two of its baby brothers--the 6.45 LDA compact, one for me and one for the wife-she loves hers. And yes the listed photo is of the SA version of a 14.45.

Very nice trigger pull. Approx 2 1/2 lbs plus for a .45 cal., it has a nice mag capacity!! No jamming experience with me

I have one and absolutely love it. All of you guys, and gals, that are deployed check out their website, they have an offer to deployed soldiers for a great deal. Ours was $750, four hi cap mags, and two engravings of our design (we did our unit patch and a map of Iraq) and then our unit as well.

Classic 1911 action at its best. High stopping power heavier frame than the plastic guns (that means it thumps your hand less) and acurracy. plus it has the modernization of high capacity magazines. I just wish Mr Budget would let me get me get one.
