This is also good for those phone calles where you have the luxury of having a speaker on the phone and you can place the Olympus right near the speaker for a perfect recording. Very excellent.

Excellent recording quality, but I would go with a higher storage capacity recorder. Olympus is great for standing behind their products.

Dont have this MOdel. But love the cheaper onei got.
With these extra abilities it ahs to be a wonderful tool.

I am quite pleased with the technology of Olympus digital voice recording. I tried other units prior to this and found Olympus to have the best overall quality and functionality. The clarity was outstanding and even eliminated some background noise from recordings on other devices. Volume of the recording was also impressive. Connection to the PC was as simple as can be. Downloading was automatic, without needing a driver. This simplifies sharing or transferring data to another PC much like simple files. Not so with other voice recorders. The compact and durable nature of this product makes it an asset in any mobile recording situation.

Absolute must have! Recordings are crystal clear and makes for great evidence in the court sytems!

I have a different model of Olympus recorder. I record everything. I can not count how many times I have been called into the Chief's office to play my recording for another officer. It has saved a lot of grief and work on complaints.

The Chief ordered six of this model to hand out. The software is easy to use and you don't have to worry about cables. They seem to be very durable as we have had ours for almost two years without any problems. Battery life is way above satisfactory too.

I highly recommend this product for officers.

Excellent sound quality, holds a ton of interviews, each in its own file. Idiot proof, light and small, easy to conceal when needed. Pretty tough. Works with various phone devices, so one can record an interview on the landline or cell. One of my best investments.

Would like to have a recorder similar to this.........Olympus is the best in this category
