This gun feels very good in your hand. Its the only gun I can shoot just as well or better left handed than right.

Great subcompact . shoots accurately, dependable . +p fires very well through this weapon. conceals very well. I carry this very often as a self defense weapon, however I am looking into the 45 version. Just to see if it is as accurate . not sure though with the 45 recoil.

Glock's true competition. I love mine with the insight light. My wife loves it too. Very controllable and reasonably accurate. A BEST buy.

This is my daily carry (off duty of course). I love it. It is the classic point and shoot. On some bodies, it might be a little wide (double stack mags) for easy concealment, but I have found that a good pocket holster in my 5.11's works pretty good.

It's a chubby little thing, but I fell in love with it after renting one at the range and firing it for the first time. It shoots more accurately than my CZ 75B, which is known for being a tack driver itself. Feels solid in your hands, and the quality of the build is apparent. Overall, a perfect backup pistol.

I carry this weapon on and off duty, (admin), rarely in the field anymore. Great for on duty, don't like so well for off duty, its a little bulky and hard to conceal even with un-tucked shirt. Thinking of getting rid of it for something thinner for off duty and just carrying one of the new .40 Sigs the dept. bought for everyone. Fits in same Fobus holster as the XD anyway.

Great Gun!! Small enough for a back-up or off duty wear. Accurate and smooth firing!! Even though there is no safety lever, the weapon has built in safety features (palm safety, trigger safety)

Great little pistol, not too bad to conceal. I use the extended mags to fit my larger hands, but the wife has no problem with the standard mags. All the little extras that come with the gun are good too, but get a different holster. The holster that comes with the XD-9 subcompact rides too low on the pistol and the extra weight when loaded causes the grip to swing out and away from the body. A good IWB or in pocket holster would work great with this firearm. Maybe even a holster that rises higher towards the back of the slide would fix this problem.

Nice little off duty weapon, reminicent of the Glock. Grip was a little short for my hands. Smaller guy at work bought it from me and seems to really like it.

Not only is this Firearm small, compact, and concealable it shoots great right out of the box. Additionally the added safety features and set up capabilities makes This gun a top of the line pick for any officer including all Springfield XD models and now the new XDM models. I am very happy and know it will perform when my life is in danger or when I need to use it most.

The XD-9 Subcompact is the complete package. Smooth and almost effortless. Small enough to feel in control, yet packs a big enough punch to get the job done.

Excellent ! Smooth operator, not so hard to conceal in Thunderwear or similar holster. No one can find it unless I tell 'em where to look.

I just purchased this weapon and absolutely love the look, the feel, and balance. It's bulky but that is a positive factor in the lack of recoil. I highly recommend this weapon for anyone who has small to medium hands.
