Good for keeping it out of the elements but not alot of protection should you drop something on top of it with any kind of weight...

This works really well for keeping the elements from your laptop but doesnt work so well in protecting it from a fall (Ive learned this the hard way!!). I usually use it for another layer of protection in my briefcase. :-)
