This was a really good holster but you needed to practice extensively with it to carry it on-duty due to the Level III retention features. The holster itself has GREAT retention and safety. I have been in 20+ fights with it and twice with a crook trying to extract it, to no avail. The only complaint that I have is that after one year using this holster daily, the basketweave covering is pealing off and is shredded. It did not and does not affect the functionality of the holster but it looks bad and there is no repair for it other than purchasing a new holster.

Great holster, the gun retention is there, can't ask for more. I also agree with asevenpointstar, after time, the finish begins to peel but Oh Well, worth the security.

A good durable holster. Had it 1.5 years and the finish is still good. Good retention even if the hood is down. Recommended

I've been using this type holster for just under 6 years. It is really quick on the draw and very easy to holster. But... this hoster does require practice. If you don't practice your pistol can get hung up and it could cost you valuable seconds. If you do practice with this holster regularly it is a great tool.

Does anyone know if they ever made or make a hi- rise one?

I just ordered mine, can't wait for it to come in. I like the idea of the 1.5" drop. After a few weeks practice I hope to have it in use. I think model 6070 is a mid rise and hi rise version.

This is the best holster I have ever owned. I have had this holster since it was introduced and have used it just about every day since. Great retention, comfortable, great looks.

The low rise is a great fit - especially when you're all legs and no torso. Other holsters made me feel like I had to draw into my armpit - retention is great, like the rocking nature - easy draw.

Love the holster. Easy to draw, (with practice). Secure so I don't have to worry about loosing it during a "tussle"

I absolutely love this holster. As most of you have said, it has great weapon retention, it' comfortable and fairly durable. I have had mine for 3 years now and I purchased it off of a fellow officer who has had it for 2-3 years before me.

I really like this holster, tripple retention but easy in and out. Best yet, when draw your weapon, you automatically go in to the proper stance. I would recommend this holster to anyone!

GREAT HOLSTER. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS DRAWING MY WEAPON OR HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH ITS FUNCTIONALITY. ITS GOING TAKE HOURS OR PRACTICE HOLSTERING AND UNHOLSTERING TO GET PROFICIENT. THE ONLY MINOR PROBLEM THAT I HAVE HAD THE PAST 3 YEARS IS THAT THE BASKET WEAVE MATERIAL HAS BEGAN TO RUB OFF A LITTLE. OTHER THAN THAT ITS A GREAT HOSTER.

Great holster. Need to practice with it all the time. What is funny, watching people use it the first time. They about pull their pants up over their heads trying to get the firearm out.

While the holster itself is pretty durable the third level of retention is junk! 1st you have to press and hold that tiny little button, which is known as a fine motor skill. We all know or should know fine motor skills go out the window under enough stress. 2nd it does not hold up well to extreme cold.

I'm currently in the academy and this holster is working great with everything that we're doing. I've seen some other holsters that look pretty good, but this one works well for me.
