This vest provides revolutionary design which fully integrates the hands-free hydration process. This vest is great for ergonomic comfort.

This is a great piece of equipment. You can attach anything to it as long as it is MOLLE compatable. The two in one design is great its much better than wearing standard ARMY LBV or web gear Plus a cumbersome camelbak. The design cuts down on marrying your gear and there is less shifting when you're running, prone position or rolling in the dirt. The one i have has a wire in the drinking tube making it adjustable and easier to use.

The gear incorporates the camel back which not only provide hydration but good back support out in the field. Plus you can add more hydration gear such as canteens if necessary.

I purchased this vest to replace my Army issued Load Bearing Vest (LBV). I love the concept of integrating the Camelback with an LBV, especially when you factor in the MOLLE attachments, so dropping $125 plus about $175 for all the attachments, a pistol belt, and cross-draw holster didn't bother me. However, right out of the box, one button snaps on the pistol belt loop came right out of the fabric. I pondered returning/exchanging it at that point but my laziness got the best of me so I just cut off that particular loop. Fast-forward six months to June 2008. I was out at Fort Irwin, CA (NTC) when yet another snap did the same thing. Camelback needs to beef-up the loops so that they can withstand a lot more than just being snapped and unsnapped.

Well made, solid kit. MOLLE compatible and for anyone in the field, hydration is a must. Excellent choice for street officers in an active shooter situation. Adjust for fit over your existing body armor and uniform. Allows you to carry spare magazines for your patrol rifle and extra gear for a quick deploy on an active shooter.

Hydration is key but so is safety. This product was tested in the desert. I think it could be a lot better If it added protection instead of a fancy water source attachment.
