I've owned one for several years. Put alot of rounds down range through it, with no problems. Very satisfied with its operation and portability. Not my first choice, but fulfills the first rule of a gunfight, "have a gun".

Good off-duty and last resort gun. I've had a few problems with feeding different hollow point ammo. I had the finish redone by a friend of mine with Durakote. It is a great pocket gun. So popular in fact, Ruger has followed it by making the almost LCP clone. I have a Gen-1 model. I've hear the Gen-2 are a little more reliable. Hey! For what they cost...not a bad gun at all!

This product has a great design and great concealability, I would give this product 3 stars simply for the price and concealability, good close range back up, however the workmanship could stand improvement, I just sent the barrel in my new P3at back to Kel Tec because of an imperfection in the barrel from the factory. This could happen with any firearm however I would not advise to use this gun as a primary. Use your own descretion as to the dependability.

I've had mine for about a month. I love the size of the gun, but it is not a fun target shooting gun. This gun is great for what it is made for, which is being a reliable concealed weapon. I love mine.

I paid $265.00 for mine and it works great, especially loaded with Glaser Silver Safety Slugs. As far as one person that gave a one star rating and said to "get a Ruger, because it's better", you can get in line for the Recall of your Ruger.
I'm not going to knock Ruger, because there are some Ruger products that I own and like, but don't knock Kel-Tec.
This is an extra gun for hide away use.- Flag as inappropriate

Great little pistol. Accurate and extremely reliable. Not the most potent round but it beats throwing rocks.

A great little gun. Easily concealable and light weight. Small mag capacity but very nice.

It ain't pretty...and it ain't comfortable to shoot, but by golly, it goes bang every time I pull the trigger, and it conceals effortlessly. Plus, I paid $200 and change for it, so it get five stars from me. It is what it is...an affordable pocket-gun, meant to be a option for getting to safety, or a bigger gun.

Kel Tec has another winner in the back-up market with this one. At about $225.00, there is no reason for any Officer not to have a back-up or second weapon on them at all times. This hides and stores better thasn a pack of smokes, and it's all business. Nothing against Ruger, but the LCP sure isn't worth another hundred bucks for a bit of rounding to the corners and deeper bluing. Buy the Kel-Tec, a couple spare mags and some ammo and still have change from the LCP and a box.
