Work for Probation and Parole and we are required to carry our weapons concealed. Prior to policy change in 2006 we were not allowed to carry semi-automatics, therefore we had to carry revolvers and a lot of the officers carried this particular model. We now have Glocks, but continue to qualify with both revolver and semi-automatics if we want. I like this gun, as it is lightweight and is easy to carry and conceal in the summer when wearing shorts & t-shirt. Qualify equally well with both.

Nice back-up weapon. Fits great in a Galco ankle holster. Wear one everyday!

This is also a good weapon. And today's ammo should make it pack a good punch. But never use +P or +P+ ammo in it. I had a supervel +P expand in the chamber and split down the side.
Stick with standard pressure ammo and its fine.- Flag as inappropriate

Now that's my baby, I own and carry this weapon, light weight ankle friendly, a bit of a recoil but a fine wheel gun!

Excellent light duty backup weapon, I would recommend using +P Ammo, SJHP!

I've carried one as a backup and od for 15 years. Great pocket gun, and I just wished I could shoot +P+ in it.

From the training i received this does not fall under the K.I.S.S. category and for patrolman this principle is paramount. I can guarantee that 90% of active patrolman do not practice in the scale it would take to be safe and efficient with this weapon as a back up. This weapon is strictly a back up weapon or a very up close and personal defence weapon is about all its good for.

I have a different version of this fine weapon. Mine is matte black, with the hammer shaved off. This makes it great for a pocket holster as you can't get the hammer caught on anything during the draw.

excellent pistol - very light weight and way more concealable than my old Glock 27. The only downside is that it only has a 5 round capacity, but I throw a speed loader in my pocket in case the SHTF!
