Great weapon for a back up or off duty. I have had mine for about 5 years and it has never failed me.

Good things come in small packages!!! Super light gun and packs a Mike Tyson punch. I carry it on my ankle for a back up while on duty.

excellent off duty, backup piece. also makes a great civilian concealed carry firearm. extremely reliable, lightwieght and easy to conceal. given it's lightweight, the firearm does pack a whallop in felt recoil for it's caliber. superb addition to the collection.

Not to rehash what the others have said, it is great. I wanted to add that mine will shoot POA/POI out to at least 25 yards. I consistintly shoot groups in 2-3 inches at that distance and it hardly even has sights. It shoots more accurately than my 1911. Love it.

I own the blue version and carry this "lite" pistol on my ankle while on duty. I sometimes forget it is there and end up banging it on things in the office or car. It is a dependable, accurate 5-shot pistol and I have faith it'll be there for me whenever the time arises.

Brought this little jewel in 84 when I first became a LEO as a backup and have never regretted it since. Great weapon for backup and off-duty carry. This is one of the most accurate 2" pistol I have ever owned...I use +Ps so I have enough knock-down to get anyone off of me....Buy one you'll won't be sorry that you did...

Extremely reliable, very easy to conseal.. I have it in the Ultra-lite titanium CH model. It is also very accurate. I use it on the range to show fellow officers that with a little practice, anything is possible. I shoot from the 50 yd. post and can place 4-5 in the sillouette.

I've owned and carried a Taurus 85 for almost 25 years. I've shot literally thousands of rounds of everything from target wadcutters to +P+ through it and it's still just as tight as it was out of the box. The 85 is inherently reliable and surprisingly accurate for a small frame revolver. I have other small frame handguns in my armory, but I usually reach for my 85 when I want to carry small.

Just got one as a backup for the start of my career in Law Enforcement. Light, easily concealed, accurate and a great price (got mine for $313 w/ tax). I have 2.5 inch ultra light version and I love it!!

I have the 85CH and no .38 could be better. Fits the hand well, handles recoil well, and points perfectly. Whether on belt of ankle, this one is hard to beat.

I have this gun in total titanium and carry it mostly in the summer as my off duty piece. My carry round is the Ranger 110gr +P+ JHP which has awesome ballistics. I have carried this gun for 4 years and have put hundreds of rounds through it. I can't say enough good things about it.
