| Description: | The HK USP Compact is a small frame pistol capable of firing the most powerful cartridges. Based on the full size USP models, these handy pistols combine compact size with optimum effective shooting performance. USP compacts are smaller and lighter than large frame USPs. The reduction in trigger reach and grip circumference increases concealability and enhances shooting ergonomics. Unlike some subcompact semi-automatic pistols that use a difficult to shoot two finger grip frame, the USP Compact uses a narrow, full hand grip frame. Easy to shoot, simple to maintain; the USP Compact is a reliable, safe, accurate and highly concealable pistol. |

One of my favorites. Never had any malfunctions or problems with mine. A Plus for me is unlike the fullsize USP the compact has metal mags. Great Weapon.

If you like this one try the P2000. With ambidextrious slide catch and adjustable backstraps you will love the new and improved version. Just watch the springs for the trigger and magazine release. Both willl rust if no attention is given to them after rainy days.

While on the SWAT Team I had this gun issued to me in 9mm. I had it for five years. My goal was to break it. I could not do it. I stopped counting after 20, 000 rounds. Believe me those rounds were everything under the sun. The only round that failed to extract was a 53 grain THV round. Our team regularly shot 2.5 inch qualification groups with this gun (50 rounds back to 25 yards). My preference is the Variant 1 for locked and cocked carry.

There is no better pistol on the market. I have, in my personal collection, HK USP40, M&P40, HD 9mm, 1911 MARK VI, and a Glock 19. Out of all of these I use my 1911 and USP the most. I use my colt for more show and tell than anything. When I want to just "blow away" all the stares at the range though, H&K.

I have never liked H&K pistols to heavy and bulky IMHO...

I used the H&k in security training in the Marine Corp, I found it to be accurate and light weight(45cal) fun to use.

This s a very accurate and great German handgun. However, the price of this gun makes it unreasonable. I say this because their rail is unique allowing very few accessories. GG&G makes a slim line adapter to allow the use of a regular rail for Surefire, Streamlight, and other aftermarket lights and lasers. This gun is not so compact, it is very large when being compared to other compact handguns. I do shoot well with this gun, I have a medium size hand and it fits perfect in this gun. The pistol fits thirteen rounds of .40 S&W which is nice.

Not a big fan. Our Department issues them but I gave mine back and carry my own 40. Personally I think they're way overpriced for what you get. I'd much rather have a Glock 23C.

I have had my 357 sig for 5 years now and I love it still. It is my carry gun and it's size makes it undetectable. Shoots true but the only accesories that fir th rail are HK products which can get expensive.

The PERFECT Handgun. I own one in 357Sig, Light, Compact and VERY Accurate with Stopping power. The hammer being concealed only makes it easier to clear clothing for off-duty carry.

I carried my H&K USP Compact .40 for almost three years on my side, until i was told I will carry what is issued to me. My H&K has the stainless steal slide on it, With this gun my proficiency was better and with all the qualifications I did I never had a malfunction.

Issue weapon for Customs and Border PRotection. Department got away from the 9mm Glock for a gun with more punch. Hated it to start with. Long trigger travel (LEM modifications). Now that I am intimately familiar with it, I Love It. If you know how to stage the LEm Trigger and use the trigger reset (very close reset) its an awsome little piece.

I'm very comfortable shooting this weapon. It handles great for me. Not too heavy, not too big, and I can carry it with me off duty due to its smaller size compared to the full size USP. I qualify fine with the weapon.

I absolutely love this gun, no doubt. I've owned it for 10 years and have never had a malfunction or issue with it. Much better than my department issued relic.

A good firearm. Very reliable, never had a jam. The trigger reset (on the DAO) is very nice and helps you get back on target a lot faster.

This is what they meant when they said "quality vs. quantity". Yes a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Excellent DA/SA trigger pull as well as sufficient magazine capacity. Night sights are a must! The cons are expensive magazines and the utility rail cannot be used with any non-HK fixtures unless an adapter is bolted on, which hinders concealed carry. I use shoulder, pancake, and IWB holsters for this particular weapon.

HK has always mad a five-star product and I personally rely on them every time. Much like the Glock you can beat it, dirty it, put 1000 rnds straight through it and it will not jam. I have never had any problems with mine and like the guy below me said, the metal mags are awesome. Very easy to shoot and I like the longer trigger pull myself.

For being a "plastic" gun, it was a great duty weapon. Wish I would have never sold it.

Out of all the plastic Pistols the HK is the best I have used. I own a Walther P99 AS and would be happy to trade it for the HK P2000. I love all the HK pistols but my favorite it the P2000. My department uses the Sig P226 which is an awesome gun but I would rather have the HK because its lighter and every bit as good.
