This is a neat rifle. It is sometimes picky with ammo. I carry this as a patrol rifle and have never had any problems with the current ammo.

Neat little carbine. A classy long gun that truly utilizes the 7.62X39mm round. Mine is stainless steel and it is my short/medium range deer gun. Never had any problems from the gun. The surplus ammo on the market makes this a neat survivalist gun if you're looking.

This Rifle is Outstanding. The 7.62X39mm has fantastic capabilities. The rifle can and ammunition can penetrate most things and this is very advantageous to officers. The 5.56, AR platform has problems with penetration, the Ruger gets it done. Great weapon for Departments that don't want to have rifles and Shotguns.

Awesome rifle, accurate, take down power and penetration, add a Good 3X9X40 scope and you have one Hell of a Plinker!! Then 30 round clips and you can shoot till the cows come home or you run out LOL
