This is one of the first of Kershaw's Ken Onion SpeedSafe knives and still among the best. It features a 13C26 stainless-steel blade for strength and corrosion resistance. Its blade is also coated with scratch-resistant Tungsten DLC for a handsome, non-reflective surface. It has a contoured handle of injection-molded polyimide, an extremely durable engineering plastic, for a comfortable and stable grip. Stainless-steel liners add to the overall handle strength. Closed length: 4.5" Blade length: 3.25" Weight: 3.5oz

For your money, this is a very good, sturdy and dependable knife. Some of my favorite features are its serrated blade, easy one-handed opening with a solid thumb stud, easy one-handed closing ability, a smooth and fast, spring-assisted opening; a very sturdy pocket clip, the blade isn't wobbly at all when it is in the locked-open position, and its' fit in my hand--not so big that it's clumsy, not too small that it's hard to hold with a solid grip, and it's molded and to fit the hand comfortably.
My only knock on it is that it has opened on me when it has dropped on the ground--it has no blade lock that holds it in the closed position like many other Kershaw knives have.
This knife is far superior to most other knives of the same price. You can get stronger blades with other knives; but, if you want a knife that will be more than functional as a self-defense back-up, this knife is more than adequate to get that job done.
