Very good little five shot .38 special snubby with a 1.87" barrel and basic (but decent) rubber combat grips. Comes in solid steel or "Ultralite" alloy frame and either a full or concealed hammer. Also has a shrouded hammer version. It's very similar to the S&W Chief's Special (and its off-shoots), and is every bit as good as any S&W I've used. However, I think it has a better trigger pull once it smoothes-out after a few hundred rounds. It's well made, reliable, accurate, and +P rated. People often confuse inexpensive with cheap, and at $350 it's inexpensive - but it's not cheap. It is simply a very good and affordable daily carry self-defense weapon. It's also easy to conceal, and carries really well in my right front pants (jeans or cargo pants/shorts) pocket inside an Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster. We're not talking anything fancy or sexy here, just business - serious business.

Reliable, accurate, dependable, potent, and easy to carry/conceal. Not a flashy gun, but a rugged and reliable performer. Every bit as good as a Smiff, but at about half the price.
