My department recently purchased Kimber SIS Pro .45s for the supervisors and detectives. Being that I am the department range master I decided to take it to the range and try it out. I have never been a .45 fan for a number of years and for a number of reasons, however the quality of this firearm is truly amazing and I would like to say that this is an exceptional weapon.

There is a natural point of aim to the weapon and the way the pistol is manufactured to such close tolerances it seems to eliminate any rattling as I have seen in some .45s in the past. There is a certain smoothness in the operation that lets you know there is a quality in the in the craftsmanship of the weapon.

The only drawback to this weapon is the single stack magazine. I personally like to have more ammo than needed but this is my personal preference. I would recommend the Kimber to anyone looking for a high quality pistol for on or off duty use.
