This is an awesome weapon light; it fits all holsters for the regular TLR-1! The light is significantly brighter than previous models and the addition of the strobe function is visually disorienting to suspects allowing officers to advance on a subject without the subject being able to determine officer movements. The light strobes so quickly that the subjects eye and brain can not adjust fast enough to distinguish stationary or moving objects, allowing the officer to close a distance with an increased level of safety and residual blinding effect can last for several minutes leaving the suspect seeing stars (or large dots of bright white light)! A must have for night patrol because it allows officers to keep one hand unoccupied in the even they need to go hands on; there is only one object to maintain, the weapon.
