This is the first handgun I've ever shot. I don't have very much to compare it to, but it's very smooth and i love the safety.

I have two of these, one in dark earth and one in black. The black model has the thumb safety and is the one I carry in uniform. I love this gun! If they would make a comapact with the thumb safety it would be perfect!

I recently tried out an XD45 4", at the range. I was able to fire 10 rounds from 15yrds, rapid fire, and kept the group to under 4". I have never been able to do that with any 9mm, 40cal or 45cal EVER....Not even my 1911 Colt !
This is an amazing pistol to fire ! Easy to break down, lightweight.
