Bought these sunglasses bout a year ago... Black Frames, Black Polarized Lenses... These glasses are really something to brag about... On and off duty you look professional with these things on. Great purchase, highly recommend for every law enforcement officer. I will however agree with rrussell1981 on the fact that the glasses will slip down and touch the top of your cheek.. The lenses are also prone to a lot of fingerprints seeings how there is no bottom frame... nonetheless, still an amazing product.

Great product, excellent performance. Had mine for about 4 years now. I have the standard lenses (not XLJ) and haven't had any problems with fogging. If you're looking for great sunglasses, these are it!

If you want to look like you have bug eyes, yea, get them.

Great for in the sun w/ polarized lenses. Just as good at night with snap in clear RX lenses. I am on my second set of lenses in four years, so they hold up great for everyday wear. Must be rinsed often if around saltwater, though.

These are great sunglasses. My entire crew has them for Honor Guard use. We went to Polaroid lenses. This is the great thing: Normally when doing Honor Guard duties, you already know you gotta 'look ahead'. The eyeballs stay straight.

Well, when we wear these babies outdoors, you can look a-l-l around and no one knows.

Just a little secret that works for us.

ps: If you can, buy them through a military source. We paid $75 a pair going through military/law enforcement channels.

I have had these for the last 4 years. All I need to do is replace the lens's and I am good to go. I have the Polarized black ice lens's. The XLJ do fog up if it is cold out, but I can deal with that. I use my old M-Frames for at the range.

I have worn Oakley eye protection since my high school days that's a little over 20 yrs. now and every year Oakley just keeps getting better and better I'm a customer for life I currently own a pair of Metallic Black XLJ Half Jacket W/Fire Lenses and I would not trade them for anything else out there I'm one satisfied customer......

Any eyewear by Oakley is 110%. I have owned 3 pair of their shooting / Duty glasses.

Tough as anything, just take advantage of whatever cloth or case comes with it, to keep the lenses clean and scratch free. And DONT let ur puppy get ahold of them like i did.

I own and have owned numerous pairs of Oakleys. If you break them, most the time you can snap the part right back in. Also, they look nice

Because my eyesight is poor I need to wear glasses everyday. I looked at Oakleys and was first turned off by the cost for prescription lenses. After trying them on I liked the way they felt. Once on your face the stay in place regardless of how much you sweat. My prescription remains consistant throughout the lense not just in the center as other lenses. Outstanding glasses, well worth the money!

IMO Oakley makes the best sunglasses out there, I collect them like my wife collects shoes!

Drool... money well spent and you almost want to wear them in the dark (wouldn't recommend it). Very tough as well!

Since Ihave been an Officer I've always worn Oakley shades. They are tough, durable, and good looking. These are my latest pair. Oakley also offers a discount to Military, and Law Enforcement.

I have been looking at oakley sunglasses for a while and found that the half jackets fit the best and light weight.

These sunglasses are like Standard within Law Enforcement I have seen plenty of police officer's on patrol with these sunglasses.

I love the durability and comfort of these babys. My buddy gave them to me and I wasn't sure what to think. They are fantastic! They are super light, and I can tell the difference between wearing these and cheapos. Looking through the lenses makes everything clear and sharp. You can get a crap ton of different colored lenses, as well as different sock colors. The lenses are really durable and well worth the $100

They are the best sunglasses I ever owned. They offer great protection being polarized. They also feel great and look great.

Oakley's are built tough. I have had several pairs over the years and unfortunately they have been stolen or have met an untimely end. I had a pair of the wire framed half-wire and my nephew ran over them with afour wheeler. The lenses took it great but the frames didn't make it.

I wear these all the time---and they even stay on my head when in a scuffle....love them!

I just got a pair and so far I like. Unfortunately we haven't had a lot of sunny weather since I've had them so I have used them that much. Comfy and everything is crisp and clear. Get the polarized ones.

Good pair of glasses, the only thing I dont care about them and perfer the Natives over them is the warranty on them. I can pay $30 to Native and have a brand new pair if they break.

Love my Oakley for patrol and I have the clear lenses for tactical response. Works great with flash bangs.

One of my favorite pair of glasses. Fits the face well, lens's seem to last a little longer then others.

THESE ARE GREAT SUNGLASSES AS WELL AS SHOOTING GLASSES. MY OTHER FAVORITE IS THE FLAK JACKET.

The difference in the optical quality in these and the other guys is incredible. I have them in RX, and they are my shooting glasses as well. The impact resistance and clarity make them the king of the hill for patrol, shooting, and everyday wear. Get them.
