Designed in the 1970's by famed knife maker A.G. Russell, the STING was intended as a boot knife for hunting and personal defense. It is made from a single piece of hot forged 1050 carbon steel. This powder coated knife is 6 -7/8" long, with a 3 -1/8" double edge, razor sharp blade. The STING is also perfectly balanced should it need to be used as a throwing knife. It comes in a durable Zytel/Codura sheath that had MOLLE and boot straps for multiple carry options.
