This is the weapon I learned to shoot with. I carry one on the job and trust it implicitly. Although I generally prefer a Glock M-21 as a carry weapon, the Dan Wesson .357 Mag. is very reliable. It has interchangeable barrels so it can have a 2" barrel for concealed carry, a 4" barrel for regular duty carry and I also have a 6" and 8" for target or hunting.

The weapon I carry is my father's and the same one I learned to shoot with. It isn't overly cumbersome and I like the fact that it'll never jam. I have heard a few snarky remarks about carrying an 'Old School' wheel gun, but I've grown used to it and will continue to carry it, at least for now.

Having fired other revolvers, Smith and Wesson, Ruger and Colt, I think that this is easily the most accurate revolver I've ever fired.
