This radio was one of the first radios ever built for an EDACS system. In fact, back then it wasn't even called "EDACS;" it was called "16-Plus." To this date, these radios still can be found in service and fully working.

This radio has definitely stood the test of time. Built like a battleship, there is not really much that can damage this radio. Be it water, dirt, blunt impact, etc., this radio is unstoppable. In fact, it takes about five times of throwing the radio on pavement at full force before the LCD screen will even crack. They definitely "don't make 'em like they used to..."
