I have owned a lot of knives in my life, but this is by far my favorite ever! I have worn it out, but it just keeps going! Great knife and good price....you can find it cheaper than the price above shows...especially if you are willing to buy the one without the LE logo.

I bought this knife before I deployed to Afghanistan in 2003, and let me tell you, it has been through hell and back. This is a great knife for military and LE functions.

I've had this knife for two years and I've put it through all sorts of action. The size is perfect for big work, it's easy to deploy, and it's ergonomically comfortable to use - not to mention, it's a good looking blade. When it's time to replace this one, I'll most likely get another.

I have been carrying this knife for 3 years and I have never had a knife I liked as much as this one. The blade keeps a great edge and the entire knife is light and streamlined for easy carry.

I've had my CRKT M-16 for at least 5 years now. This is an outstanding knife. It's durable and light too!

Terrific value. I have my original CKRT from years back. These knives keep a blade through all kinds of abuse.

I have the smaller version of this knife that a carry everywhere in my B.O.B. I own a few "high end" knifes and I love this one the most. Super tough and the customer service at CRKT ROCKS!! I need new friction disks and a special allen key to tighten the pocket clip. They sent me one in about a week from their online Customer service section of the web page. SUPER COMPANY AND REALLY GREAT PRODUCTS. When you have 1* you buy the best.

Not a benchmade or Kershaw, not a knife I would sport.

GREAT KNIFE, BUT I LOST 1 OF THE LITTLE BELT CLIP SCREWS SO NOW IT JUST LAYS IN MY CONSOLE UNTIL I NEED IT. I CARRY A KERSHAW IN MY VEST AND A GERBER IN MY POCKET.

I've had one for 3 1/2 years used it in OIF1 to open MRE's at the rapid rate and cut 550 cord with no problem now I carry it in my back pocket, only thig I would like better would be if it had an auto open.

I've had this knife since I was in the middle east. Very durable.

Incredible knife for the price. The AUS8 steel and the tanto blade shape make it tough enough that if you have to abuse it, you can count on it holding up. Easier to sharpen than 440 and will take a razor edge. I carry mine 24-7-365. Only wish they made one with the clip on the other side so it was easier to deploy from weak side carry.

Love them have three or four of them. I just wish they were not so exspensive

This is an excellent accesory to your belt. I have one of the smaller ones and it fits nicely behing my double mag pouch, and is easy to retrieve. It is well worth the money, and has a good quote behind the logo.

Love these knifes. Durable Strong and made to last. The only down fall is the clip, if you get it caught on your seat belt, it's apt to break off. The upscale abot that is it is covered under warranty, and CRKT are real good about fixing or replacing their products.

One can never have too many knives. Always nice to have a couple around...one for all purpose use that you don't mind beating up a bit, and others that cost a bit more but have a specific use in mind. Either way - I always carry a few in a bag in the trunk so you have something NOW when you need it rather that scratching your head and saying "I wish....."

Great CRKT knife no doubt in my mind it would save me if push came to shove. I am a CRKT fan for good!

CRKT is a decent company, and this is a decent knife. Though asa rockclimbing instructor and as a Scout Leader, I've seen them put through the ringer. The Pocket clips screws fall off and strip too easily. The edge won't stay on under heavy use as the manufactuer boasts. for a basic hiker's knife, it'd suffice. The only nice feature on the blade is the single handed operation. All in all it's ok. In my personal opinion, save up for a Benchmade.

I have had this knife for years now and another Columbia River model. They are the best brand to keep there edge that I have owned. They are easy to open and are very dependable. I would likr to see a auto open model from them.

I have a N16-10KZ. It has a 3 inch blade with a tanto point, cost under $25 at Wal-Mart. It is a great knife, thin and easy to carry. It is one of three I normally carry, and one I always carry off duty. I carry it tucked behind my belt just off from behind the buckel, no one every knows it is there.

I have the M-16. It is quite handy. When in uniform, I carry it all the time. The action is soo smooth, and it keeps a nice sharp edge....Go get you one!

I bought this knife just because I thought the little 1* on the blade was cool! Little did I know that it was going to be the best knife that I have ever owned!

Love the knife. keeps a great edge...I lost a small screw on belt clip but I just keep tighting the one that is left... would buy another....

I love these knives. I have had two. The first one I lost so I got another one to replace it. I found the one I lost 8 months later when I was mowing the yard. The knife was out in the elements all winter. I picked it up and poped it right open. No rust. I have lost both knives since then. I lose alot of knives while searching cars. I bet I have 10 somewhere in Mexico right now. Anywways love the knife very durable and reliable. Wish I had another one.

This was a gift from my at-the-time-wife. Well she is not around anymore, but the knife is and half to admit of the three I own this one is by far the best. Handles wear and tear really well and other than cleaning it I have not had a single problem. The only complaint I have is the clip is so tight I have some difficulty pulling it off my pocket. But after two years maybe that is sign of how well the knife holds up.

love my new one they are great

this is a great knife. i have had mine for 6 years or so. it now looks like it has been through a blender, and you name it, but it has never failed me once. i use it as what ever i want or need. it has been used as a pry bar, screw driver, you name it. it has held up and exceeded my expectations.

I've carried this knife for the past 3 years with out fail. I never go anywhere without it. I carry this before I carry my backup weapon off duty. This is an excellent knife. I would advised anyone to buy this knife.

Before I was a Police officer I worked in a LE and Military store... We could not keep this knife in stock. This is one of the best line knifes you can purchase with out even touching the bank account. If you do not have one go to your local store and check this out!!!!!

I own several different sizes and styles of the CRKT knives and love them. This one in particular is a great duty knife to carry and for use off duty as well.

Great knife. Very sharp and easy to open. One complaint is the thumb stud is very abrasive and will wear the eage of a pocket in no time flat.

A great patrol knife. I have this one and it's big brother, Columbia River makes an outstanding product.

I have had this knife for a year now and it's still as sharp as the first day I took it out of the box. As a lefthanded shooter I like that I can open the blade with both hands.

I started out with a cheaper version of the CRKT M16 knife, and liked it, although the edge didn't hold up well with the cheaper metal.

But I upgraded to this knife- and I LOVE it. One handed operation, even with mine that has the second blade lock. Sturdy, big enough to be used defensively in a pinch, and useful enough that I carry it everyday.

I Love these knives. They hold an edge well and are extremely durable and handle well in most environments.

Amazing knife. Good quality product with safety a key factor in design with the locking fold release! CRKT has does it agin with another quality knife!

This is a very good product. I have owned two for the last several years and put them through some pretty tough situations. They are very dependable. I've had both the serrated and non serrated blade, and prefer the serrated.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WORK HORSE IN KNIVES YOU FOUND IT WITH THIS. EVERYONE'S REVIEWS ARE TOTALLY CORRECT. THE KNIFE IS ALL AROUND SOLID, DEPENDABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT AND DURABLE. I LOOK FOR KNIVES THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE GREAT IN THE FIELD AND NOT FOR LOOKS. THIS KNIFE ALONG WITH MANY OTHER CRKT KNIVES ARE WORTH THE MONEY.

This knife is great. It maintains its edge and is easy to use with either hand.

Very durable ... my got shot with a .22lr (using it to hold a target because i didn't have anything else). I took it apart and hammered the bend out of it ... like new with a little more character!

After 3 years of wear and tear it still opens as smooth as the day I bought it. I bought a second one for everyday carry outside my uniform and love em boith. The best knife by far that I have ever owned. I have recommended to all of my buddies and friends.

I have special forces model ( has thumb stud on both sides of the blade). Razor sharp, the ability to pierce kevlar, car doors, etc comes in handy. A little big, but get used to it after a few days. Multi position (4) clip attatchment is also a plus. My favorite EDC. Got for $35 on Ebay (new)

Good knife, keeps an edge but Crkt needs to redesign the clip, I've lost mine and can't find a replacement.

I own 2 of these knives, carry one in my war bag. This has to be the strongest folder out there, has double lock so it wont fold closed on your hand when put to the tough jobs. Sharp too.

Dependable duty knife/tool. Only complaint is screws that hold clip on work loose (loc-tite works)
