I highly recommend this weapon (as I would any Sig!). What makes this special is the consistency of double-action only. I used to carry a P220 and that first shot is a bit awkward. I used to manually cock the hammer as I presented from the holster. I love having the consistent pull each time I fire and 6.5 pounds is perfect for me. It took me a while to train my thumb to stop trying to engage the decock lever but this weapon is well worth the extra training. I use the .357 sig caliber and this can convert to a .40 with a drop-in barrel just like the regular P226 (the magazines work for either caliber; .357 sig is basically a necked-down .40 cartridge with the .357 slug). The P226 DAK is available with accessory rail and optional Sig-Lite night sights (highly recommended; factory-installed is often best). Typical Sig accuracy right out of the box. Spend a little more; you won't regret it!
