A good read, it is about a family with multiple generations serving in the NYPD. Any Cop living in the Tri-State area will immediately feel at home with the Cops in this book. They are "Us"!

This is a great book about the current life as a cop in NYPD with jargon that us cops can grasp. It shows just how different and how similar working the beat is for all of us.

This is a great book. It tells of his life from becoming an officer to working his way up to detective. Also, it gives an insight on what it is like to work the street because to be a good detective it's good to have street smarts which this book reveals.

This is a great read. The author does a real good job at portraying the life of a NYPD officer starting as a rookie and moving up to detective. Highly recommend this book.

It is very personal, introspective and honest and gives a good survey of what it means to be a Cop in many aspects. He comes from family of LEO's in NYC and gives a good history of NYC policing. I recommend this reading to anyone.
