The round has double the bullet weight of the 5.56, and a nice flat trajectory at 2600 fps muzzle velocity. This weapon and round combination offers accuracy and punch. I noticed an insignificant increase in felt recoil which I believe is to be expected, and a fair trade off for what you get. I love mine.
