the 48 laws of power is an amoral guide to amassing power using historical references , famous quotes and even Asops fables to show and teach the reader each law in action and its reverse when it is applicable. I would say the book is great for any undercover agent or those who wish to be protected from the power plays of others . I have one small warning though the book will make you a little paranoid as you will suspect alter motives in everything around you .

This book was eye opening and details the thought process and behavior of the people around you. I have recognized specific tactics and methods that have been used by family, friends, co-workers and supervisors. The information in this book can help keep you from being pulled into a power struggle, unwanted drama and from unintentionally making a bad situation even worse.

I am forever finding this book in the property of the inmates I supervise. Without a dought it is a perspective on their thought process.....and clue for me on how to stay one step ahead of them.
