This is one of those books that once you read it, you cannot put it down. It speaks the truth about being an active NYPD street crime cop. The author is the 4th most highly decorated cop in the NYPD and the are making a movie or TV shows about the book now. The author gets caught up with trying to get guns off the street and how his personnal life goes sour.

Robert Cea is a malcontent that got fired. Where he came up with "4th most..." is a real mystery. You have a better shot at getting authenticity from a bad episode of Law & Order than this trashy book. It reads like what it is - a hack's attempt to sell a story to Hollywood on the backs of real police officers
