No mistaking the quality of a Kimber! They're great weapons...no matter which one you own. I had a Pro Carry a while back, but at the time, I was constantly going out into the field and it was taking a severe beating. I just couldn't do that to such a great weapon so I sold it to family friend who bought it off of me for the retail price because of how well it held up despite the abuse I had given it. A little pricey to maintain and a little time consuming to strip down to clean but still a great weapon. I still get to shoot it when my friend and I go out for a day at the range, but I opted to go for a Springfield 1911 for more ease of stripping in the field and I don't feel as bad if it gets beaten to death in the field.

One of the best 1911s on the market, and easy to conceal.

This firearm is comfortable to carry and shoot. Very well balanced, shoots to point of aim and has very effective knock-down power. Typical Kimber reliability. You can wear it confidently

Mine blew up on the range. The aluminum sight holding in the drop safety and spring blew off. I also don't like the 3 piece extractor. It is over engineered and jams every other magazine or so after about 100 rounds if I don't clean it on the range, but great if you never shoot it. Buy a Springfield Armory or Colt.

I am a big fan of KImbers. They are one of the best out of the box 1911's out there.

The 1911 frame is a work of art that is forever evolving. I own 3 kimbers and will be purchsing a fourth shortly. I am thinking about getting either the gold combat RL 2, the SIS PRO, or the custom TLE RL 2. All great firearms.

The reason I bought the Tac II was because every one else on the SRT Team had 1911 models. I figured If I ran out of ammo I could use someone else's mag. I carried a Sig Pro before. The thing was very picking on ammo and it would jam on me constantly. Sent it back to Kimber and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I bought a XD .45

I like it because it is easy to handle. I don't get to practice much between work and our kid but every time I get to take it out it preforms beautifully. The trigger pull is so nice and easy it makes it better for a chic to shoot since we tend to anticipate the BOOM;) more than the guys. We have both a Glock and this Kimber in our house and I threaten to make this one mine all the time, or get myself and ultra carry.

I love this ndgun for off-duty. Small and easy to conceal. Very accurate, good shooting handgun. Mine has gone through some tuff handling and still shoots like the day I bought it! This baby has been fishing, hunting, in the mud, in the ice, the heat, every where I go off-duty that my duty weapon don't get to go! Reliable, super handgun, just a little high priced!

A true professionals weapon. Pricey but worth it. There is a reason that the 1911 has stood the test of time and has been copied by so many manufacturers.
