Our department just recently went to this uniform, it is much more comfortable than the old one and is a better heat reducer than the old uniform.

This shirt is ok. Definitely keep an eye on the what kind of wear life you get out of it.

Once again the womens shirt is not listed. These are great shirts for comfort, especially if you work in a hot area, that back vent will come in handy for ventilation. Once again they do fade a bit too quickly.

It's tough, comfortable, and wears well, but dosen't look particularly sharp or proffessional.
I don't like the button down collars, I have a short neck and the collars don't lay right/won't stay flat when I button them down.
I think the velcro-inner pockets are cool, but unneccessary, and totally impractical. You cannot put a backup gun or a flashlight or anything heavier than a notepad in there, it's a lightweight shirt for crying out loud!

Our department switched to this a couple of years back. It is the worst uniform I have ever seen or worn. It doesn't breathe at all. I work in Arizona it gets very hot out here and you need a uniform that will breathe. I don't know any of my partners that like it either. We all want our old Flying Cross shirts and Blauer pants back.

I exclusively wear 5.11 gear shirts and pants as my duty wear in my police gig stateside. Love them, they can take a beating and they are nice enough to be worn even in more formal settings than bdus would.
Expensive..but you get what you pay for with 5.11- Flag as inappropriate

Awsome shirt, agency just went to them in the jail. Wanted to get away from the silk screen t-shirts and polos. Hope they dont fade like the pants.
