My first handgun i have ever owned, i have practiced a lot with it. Its cheap and easy to take care of and it has a lifetime warranty. Plus, its made in my home state of Ohio. i suggest this cheap firearm to any beginners who need to practice their skills.

I think these pistols are poorly made are to heavy and are plain old pieces of poop. I believe if you purchase something that may have to save your life someday you want a gaurantee it will work, not a gaurantee you will have parts replaced when it wont.

These Hi Point pistols are nice for home use or the range, I wouldn't use it as a service weapon.
I've spoke with the guy who started these weapons, he did it for the everyday home owner who wanted a pistol for home defense and couldn't aford the higher end pistols, for the purpose they're perfect. I owned a C9 nice little pistol.

i own this handgun, it jams more times then i have used jam on toast. Nothing like the hi point carbine. i don't really suggest it to anyone unless you just want a cheap fire arm to take out back and pop into the hill.

great for plinking... thats about it and with the price of ammo now days, id reccomend buying a .22.... or if you happen to have a 9mm and are going to buy the ammo anyway, just purchase the c9... the gun is fairly accurate up to about 25ft after that good luck! not a service weapon, the 9mm carbine made by hi-point on the other hand... now thats a fantastic gun!.. accurate as heck at 60yrds!!

This was my first handgun i liked it at first because i had never owned a handgun,it double feeds alot, it feels barrel heavy,if you like this firearm as for practice the only advice i would give is to use fiocchi .380 ACP,ive never had a jam or double feed and ive shot well over 1,000 rounds, another observation is all the street gang thugs carry these cause there cheap,i like a little class when i comes to the gun i choose, which was my next firearm the Taurus PT111 Pro,excellent small frame carry weapon.
