It seemed like everyone in my agency was rocking a pair of Oakley Gascans, but I thought they were too big and I don't like to have my peripheral vision restricted, so I ordered a pair of Canteens (and a pair of polarized Gascans, which I've worn only twice, and only because I couldn't find my Canteens). I love these glasses. The optical quality is amazing (especially considering that I used to buy $10 cheapies because I tended to lose them). I broke a car window and somehow one of the lenses got a big gash (good thing it wasn't my eye); I was thrilled to be able to buy replacement lenses from Oakley. They still restrict my peripheral vision, but not so much as the Gascans.
I purchased my Oakleys through their government/LE-only website, USStandardIssue.com for $50 for the Canteens and $75 for the polarized Gascans; replacement lenses for the Canteens were $20. A steal all around.
I recommend these sunglasses (and Oakley in general) heartily and without hesitation.
